How does mesotherapy work?
Medical research has proven that combinations of FDA-approved pharmaceutical medications, homeopathic vitamins, minerals, and plant extracts injected into the middle layer of fat under the skin will melt fat from the adipose tissue (fat calls). This is called lipolysis. Once the fat is dissolved, the lymphatic system carries the fat to the liver and muscles where it is metabolized and eliminated through the kidneys. Water intake is important to flush the fat and toxins from your body. Vitamins and minerals help your body eliminate and metabolize the fat and toxins. How is mesotherapy performed in our office?
You will have a consultation with me to determine the number of areas to be treated, the size of the areas to be treated, and how many sessions you are likely to need in order to remove the fat or cellulite. The cost of the consultation is $50. This is non-refundable but will be applied toward your therapy should you decide to have mesotherapy performed.

With-in seventy-two hours before or after your procedure, you will come in for a lymphatic massage for best results. Massages allow increased blood flow to the treated areas that will facilitate movement of the fat from the areas treated into the blood stream to be processed by the liver and eliminated by the kidneys. The cost of the massage is not included but you may purchase your massage separately. Allergy testing of the personalized medication formula that I have prepared specifically for you will be preformed.
You will receive your recommended dietary instructions, oral medications. The procedure takes one and a half hours. You will be given pre-medications (including Valium and Phenegan) and herbal tea to help you relax, which is included in the price of your treatment. You will be able to resume your normal activities on the same day, but you will not be able to drive right away as the pre-medication causes drowsiness.
Face and Chin:
If you are having your face or chin done, it will be necessary for you to take medications for 3 days prior to your session and continue the medications 4 days after your treatment in order to prevent swelling.
